This Privacy Policy describes how Brendan Garrett("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with Jane's Kitchen at https://www.janes.kitchen(the "Service"), operated from Pennsylvania, United States.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: email address and authentication data processed by Supabase when you create an account.
• Recipe data: your recipe ideas, prompts, and saved generated recipes stored in our database.
• Subscription data: plan and subscription status derived from Stripe (we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers).
• Cookies and similar technologies: session cookies for sign-in, and an optional cookie for anonymous trial usage limits.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to provide and improve the Service, authenticate users, enforce usage limits, process subscriptions, and communicate about the Service as needed.

3. AI Processing

When you generate a recipe, your inputs are sent to OpenRouter (and underlying model providers) for AI generation. Do not submit sensitive personal data you do not want processed by those providers.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We store subscription-related identifiers and status in our database to provide access to paid features.

5. Data Storage

Data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL). Infrastructure may be located in the United States or as configured in your Supabase project.

6. Sharing

We share information with service providers who assist in operating the Service (e.g., Supabase, Stripe, OpenRouter, hosting). We do not sell your personal information.

7. Cookies

We use cookies for authentication sessions and, for visitors who are not signed in, a cookie to enforce anonymous usage limits.

8. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to or deletion of certain information. You may also delete your account from Settings in the Service. Contact us using the email below for other requests.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes

We may update this policy; the effective date will be revised when we do.
